EP Addalevel SL2K is a pigmented, seamless flooring system based on a solvent free epoxy resin compound incorporating a special filler and is primarily intended for use on new and old concrete floors.
EP Addalevel SL2K is a 2 part self levelling, solvent free seamless, flow applied epoxy resin flooring which is easy to use with just the right balance of fluidity and density that ensures it is a pleasure to work and gives a perfect finish every time.
It provides a smooth, impervious, hardwearing finish, intended for use in areas where hygiene, durability and the ability to be easily cleaned is of importance. Typical areas are warehouses and process areas for both food and pharmaceutical industries, clean rooms, engineering etc.
Chemical Resistance
EP Addalevel SL2K provides a seamless and watertight finish with good chemical resistance to most chemicals such as alkalis, oils, fats, salt but limited resisttance to acids in high concentrations. primarily intended as a coating on concrete. The treated surface will be easier to keep clean and has reasonable wear resistance. The adhesion to concrete is excellent.
EP AddalevelSL2K can be pigmented in a colour of your choice, it has excellent wear resistance and provides a gloss surface on new or old concrete floors.
Initial cure at 20oC is 10-12 hours at a depth of 2mm, full cure is achieved in 7days.
System Build Up Specification
Surface Preparation:
The surface should be free of laitance, oil, grease and loose friable particles which may effect adhesion. Diamond grinding or vacuum assisted shot blasting are recommended on smooth surfaces.
Priming:
The concrete should be primed with EP ADDAPRIME epoxy primer. Two primer coats are recommended to prevent possible pin holing. Alternative primers are available.
Coloured Top Coat:
Apply the EP Addalevel SL2K in your chosen colour applied at a typical rate of 3.2m2/kg to achieve a 2mm thickness.
Addaflor resin flooring provides a tough, chemical resistant floor finish. The chemical interaction between the two component parts creates a surface that can be stronger than concrete.
